Trial lesson (ZL)
Price : 750 CZK
Lesson length : 45 minutes, optional 90 minutes
Purpose : Familiarization with the school premises, the lecturer's approach and teaching methodology.
Date selection : Must match the available dates of regular lessons. If you choose a different one, it will not be possible to continue with it.
Possibility of changing the lecturer : If the lecturer does not suit you, we can offer another lecturer at another available date. This option also applies at any time during regular lessons. We care about our students feeling good.

Starting regular lessons : If you decide to continue after the trial lesson, you must start within a week (e.g. if you take a trial lesson on Friday, you start regular lessons the following week).
Teaching details after the trial lesson
Price : 750 CZK per lesson (3000 CZK or 3750 CZK per month, depending on the calendar)
Frequency : 1x per week, 45 or 90 minutes, same day and time
Classes are not taking place :
About public holidays (if a public holiday falls on a regular lesson, the lesson is cancelled and is not even on the invoice).
During the summer holidays (July and August) - unless otherwise agreed.
Summer piano lessons : During the summer holidays, 1-2 tutors usually teach, if students show interest. The summer schedule is agreed individually.
Other school holidays (half-year, spring, autumn, etc.) : Classes take place according to the regular schedule.
Billing : Monthly in advance, always on the 1st of the month for 4 or 5 lessons according to the calendar.
Group music theory lessons
Dates :
Children : Mondays 3:15 PM–4:15 PM, Wednesdays 4:45 PM–5:45 PM
Adults : Mondays 5:00 PM
Price : 350 CZK per lesson
Conditions : Same as for individual lessons in playing an instrument or singing.
Content : Rhythm, intervals, harmony, aural analysis and other practical musical principles.
Excuses from a lesson and its replacement
💡 Attendance and lesson refunds
Our school provides flexible excuses to accommodate unexpected situations such as illness or work commitments. Replacement dates are available in the school's subject WhatsApp group, where students can choose a free date.
At the same time, it is important that classes are regular - the excuse system is not intended to allow students to plan their attendance according to current needs, but to allow for substitution if necessary. If you book a fixed date, we expect you to use it regularly.
Terms of apology and compensation :
Excuse : Possible at any time, but its payment remains - instead, the lesson can be replaced on another date, the excuse for the lesson must be announced no later than 24 hours before the lesson, thanks to which it is possible to choose an alternative date.
Late excuse : (less than 24 hours before the lesson) = lesson cannot be replaced.

Excuse ≠ cancellation of lesson. Complete cancellation of lessons (e.g. moving to the next month, not invoicing one or more lessons in a month) is not possible. If a student books a regular date, we expect regular attendance or compliance with the conditions for refunds.
Options for interrupting classes
If a student temporarily interrupts classes , they can proceed in two ways:
Interrupting a lesson for a month – The place in the schedule will be made available for other students. Upon return, the student can only continue if the place is available.
Continuing with canceled lessons – Lessons will continue to be invoiced, canceled, and then replaced according to the rules above.
📌 If you decide to cancel your place , the rules for ending classes apply and notification is required by the 10th day of the previous month.
Summer classes and booking a place for September
If the student does not express interest in summer lessons , an invoice for July and August will not be issued .
If the student wants to continue from September, it is necessary to pay a reservation fee of 1,000 CZK , which will secure a place on the schedule.
Reservations do not guarantee the same date as last year, but the school will always find a suitable time.
If a lecturer no longer teaches at the school, the student will have the opportunity to continue with another lecturer. The school places great importance on selecting high-quality teachers.
The fee is deducted from the regular invoice in September.
If a student does not reserve a place on the timetable, we cannot guarantee that there will be a free date for them in September. In the past, it has happened that interested students who did not reserve a place had to wait for a date to become available. Therefore, we recommend booking in advance.
End of teaching
How to end classes : Just notify by the 10th day of the previous month .
Late notification : If a student notifies of termination after the 10th day, they will receive an invoice for the following month and their appointment will be reserved for that month.
📌 Example :
The student wants to graduate in February.
They will announce it on January 25th (after the January 10th deadline).
He will receive an invoice for February and his appointment will still be booked.
It has been removed from the schedule since March.

Own instrument : We prefer that students bring their own instruments - they know them better and practice on them at home.
Parental presence during the lesson : We recommend that parents of younger children remain present during the lesson, especially in the first months of classes. In our experience, young children do not always remember everything that is discussed in the lesson. Although the teachers write down notes for homework, it can be difficult for parents to understand them without direct participation in the lesson. Parental presence helps the child to better acquire new skills and practice more effectively at home.
Attendance of sick students and possibility of substitution : We recommend that parents consider the participation of their child in the lesson in case of illness, taking into account the comfort of the child and other participants in the lesson. If it is not possible to excuse the lesson in time (i.e. at least 24 hours in advance), the substitution is not guaranteed and the lesson is officially forfeited. However, if a date appears in the offer of substitution lessons for which no student with the right to substitution has responded for a longer period of time, you can inquire at the office whether it is possible to use it.
